Process:

For this project I chose to design a necklace for my best friend, Sunshine. Before gathering ideas for the design, I knew I wanted to create a piece that would dangle from the other to create movement. Sunshine and I have been friends since were about 7 and met through ice skating. We skated together growing up and have remained super close ever since. I wanted to make a necklace for her birthday and decided to make an ice skate charm that dangles from flower shaped ring. The outside is in the shape of a hibiscus because we went to Hawaii together last year.
